Response of "A Reunion with Boredom" by Charles Simic

In the essay of, "A Reunion with Boredom" by Charles Simic is talking about how life without devices or any technology can still alive. Simic has mention that, "Being without light and water is fairly common experience for those of us who live in rural areas on roads lined with old trees."(Simic, 2011 para. 2) due to this word, it remind me of the life before technology; where people in side-country would living as traditional way, no phone, no computer, or any devices to disturb their childhood life, beside TV in some household. Although, people can still earning their happiness in darkness without the need of bright of electricity of technology as in city life in now day, but only the oil lamps and candle instead. Well, maybe as the time goes by and the population of generation rising, this can be the involve of the change to the cyber-world, and target of business company.
